Paralegal
Paralegals play an important role in the legal industry, working closely with attorneys to conduct research and prepare for the needs of the client. A Paralegal’s duties will vary depending on the employer, such as drafting contracts, drafting motions, or preparing arguments or stock option plans. The Miller-Motte Paralegal Associate degree prepares students for an entry-level career in a law office or law-related profession.
Miller-Motte's paralegal training stresses practical and specific paralegal skills designed to meet the employment and personnel training needs of attorneys, corporations, government agencies, law firms, and the legal departments of banks, insurance companies and various business organizations. Graduates of the paralegal degree program at Miller-Motte can pursue careers in business, industry, and government as paralegals, legal office assistants, title examiners, compliance and enforcement officers and claims adjusters.
