Business Administration

The business landscape is constantly evolving to meet the needs of a rapidly changing economy. To succeed, organizations need strong leaders with specific business administration knowledge and skills. The Miller-Motte Bachelor of Science in Business Administration program builds on a previously earned Associate degree or equivalent program and provides students with a broad base of knowledge and skills required for managerial roles in technology, retail, education, government and other sectors.

Students in the Business Administration program complete three distinct areas of study: general education, theory, and applied learning to develop practical working knowledge. Students who possess a previously awarded Associate degree in Business or the equivalent are granted 90 quarter credit hours toward the completion of their Bachelor degree. Relevant programs the relevant programs include but are not limited to:

  • Management
  • Marketing
  • Accounting
  • Data Processing
  • Office Technology

Pre-Program required courses if not included in earned Associate Degrees (or equivalent): Two Miller-Motte College approved Accounting courses (minimum 8 quarter credit hours).

With a solid business foundation, the Miller-Motte Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree program opens you up to a range of career paths in private and public business organizations, allowing you the opportunity to choose your area of interest.
