The B.S. in Criminal Justice degree is a degree-completion program which builds on the applicant’s earned Associate’s degree or equivalent program. Students entering this program must possess at least 90 credit hours from one of the following approved Associate Degree or equivalent programs:

To provide students with a broad base of knowledge and skills required to begin or to enhance a career in varied aspects of the criminal justice environment. Students complete three distinct areas of study: general education, theory, and applied learning to develop practical working knowledge. The program builds on a previously awarded Associate degree in Criminal Justice or equivalent course work in related subject areas to prepare students for employment in a variety of private and public criminal justice organizations.
