The MMTC - Madison and Augusta campuses joined forces and challenged each other to a friendly competition for a good cause - the fight against breast cancer. The challenge was to see which campus could out-perform the other with fundraising and event participation efforts for October's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk in Nashville and the Miracle Mile Walk in Augusta.

The two campuses raised over $800.00 and nearly 40 people (students, staff, faculty, Advisory Board members, family etc.) from the two campuses participated at their city's event.

The fight against breast cancer efforts were led in Madison by Sandra Conley & Rashidah Leverett and Augusta's effort was led by Quetittia Bullock & Rob DeGraw.

The energy surrounding the challenge was exciting and both campuses walked away with bragging rights; Madison for their fundraising total and Augusta for their walk participation percentage. Through this friendly competition Madison and Augusta were truly able to help in the fight against breast cancer and demonstrate Delta's commitment to Changing Futures Changing Lives in the communities we serve.
