Massage classes you’ll take in our Massage Therapy program include:

  • Massage Pathology: In this course you’ll learn how the human body copes with disease and how massage therapy can help relieve symptoms. Topics covered are common diseases, medical terminology and body systems.
  • Swedish Massage: This course will teach you how to perform a Swedish Massage, one of the most popular massage types in the United States. You’ll learn proper massage techniques and practice them in our spa.
  • Hydrotherapy & Aromatherapy: This course will teach you how to incorporate warm and cold applications and homeopathic essential oils into your therapy routine. You’ll also learn how the external use of water and oils can be used for therapeutic purposes.

During our Massage Therapy program you have several “Student Clinic” courses which will allow you to get practice interacting with clients in the school’s spa. Not only will you hone your massage techniques, you’ll also gain experience in the administrative side of Massage Therapy by scheduling appointments and maintaining client records.
