You’ll also have several “Student Clinic” courses. During these clinical courses, you will have the opportunity to practice interacting with clients in the school’s spa. You will be able to improve your massage skills while gaining experience in the administrative side of Massage Therapy. You’ll schedule appointments and maintain client records so that after graduation, you’ll be ready to take your skills and knowledge to the job you’ve been dreaming about.

Massage Therapist
Massage Therapists use their training and knowledge of therapeutic massage techniques to relieve stress, sore muscles and release tension. A Massage Therapist can work in a number of locations, and commonly set their own hours. As a Massage Therapist, you could work in resorts, salons, chiropractic offices, fitness centers, cruise ships, physician’s offices or anywhere else where people need to relieve stress and relax.
Postsecondary Health Specialist Teacher
As a licensed Massage Therapist, you can teach courses as a Postsecondary Health Specialist. You will create class lesson plans, monitor students’ progress and share your knowledge and experience. You’ll teach students the proper massage therapy techniques and provide the education they need to move along their path to a new career. In order to become a Postsecondary Health Specialist Teacher, you will need to complete additional state requirements.
