Macon Pharmacy Technician Scholarship

Miller-Motte College-Macon is proud to announce the MMC-Macon Pharmacy Technician Scholarship! Up to twelve full-tuition scholarships will be awarded annually to students from the surrounding area who enroll in the Pharmacy Technician program. Scholarship award does not cover the cost of program fees. Applicants must meet the program admissions requirements to qualify, complete a scholarship application, include a professional letter of recommendation, and complete an essay of 150 words or more answering the following questions;

  • Why are you interested in your chosen career field?
  • Why should you be chosen to receive this scholarship?

To remain eligible the IT & Education Scholarship student must start their program within 3 months of being awarded and the student must:

  • Maintain satisfactory academic progress
  • Adhere to MMC Code of Conduct policy
  • Be continuously enrolled in program until completion

The scholarship will be divided equally by the number of terms applicable to the program of study and will be applied to each term as the student progresses through their program of study.

The scholarship can not be combined with any other institutional award or employer sponsorship. 

Scholarships are not awarded in excess of tuition charges and are not eligible for stipends.

Miller-Motte College is authorized by the Georgia Nonpublic Postsecondary Education Commission (NPEC). The NPEC authorization is renewed each year and is based on an evaluation of standards concerning quality of education, ethical business practices, health and safety, and fiscal responsibility. The school offers the associate of occupational science degree and certificate programs. It is eligible to provide training services under the Comprehensive Vocational Rehabilitation Act, and is approved for the training of eligible persons.
