Resources are available within the Miller-Motte College community as well as the local, state, and federal level. Descriptions are provided under each category to assist your search.

  • Coaching into Care is a free service for families and friends of Veterans. Responders briefly assess your concerns and provide appropriate resources and referrals. Through 10 to 30 minute calls, licensed psychologists and social workers offer guidance and help for starting conversations with the Veteran in your life about their mental health or substance use and motivating them to seek treatment if it’s needed.
  • Make the Connection provides information about being a student Veteran, treatment options, self-help tools, and resources to help you overcome challenges.
  • The Real Warriors Campaign links service members, veterans and their families with care and provides free, confidential resources including online articles, print materials, videos and podcast.
  • VA Mental Health Apps equips you with tools and information to assist you in managing PTSD-related symptoms and stress, learning to practice mindfulness and strengthening parenting skills
  • American Corporate Partners (ACP) is a national nonprofit organization focused on helping returning veterans and active duty spouses find their next careers through one-on-one mentoring, networking and online career advice. Additionally, the ACP Mentoring Program which connects post-9/11 veterans with corporate professionals for yearlong mentorship.
  • Mission Continues empower veterans to continue their service, and empower communities with veteran talent, skills, and preparedness to generate visible impact.
