Construction and Trade Management focuses on overseeing and coordinating construction projects and trades–such as plumbing, electrical work, welding, and more. It combines project management skills with technical knowledge of the trades to help construction projects be completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Program length can vary depending on the award type. At Miller-Motte College, you can complete our Construction and Trade Management program in just 18 months.

Construction managers oversee the entire construction process from start to finish. They coordinate teams, work closely with contractors and supplies, check that work is compliant, and much more.

Construction project managers oversee specific projects, not the entire construction process. They can handle client communication, work closely with stakeholders, and help projects remain within the specified budget, and more.
