Curriculum Details​

Study and train for administrative careers in healthcare with our Healthcare Information Technology degree program! Explore healthcare delivery systems, ways to mitigate risks and monitor legal changes, issues healthcare administrators face, and more. Enrollment is on a rolling basis and programs begin every five to 10 weeks.
Only those enrolled in the hybrid track of this program are eligible for externship opportunities.

 Discover proper procedures for completing, maintaining, and preserving health information as well as the relationship between health information management and the health care delivery system. 

Examine the health information management profession, healthcare delivery systems, accreditation and certification applicable to health records, and more. 

 Practice using coding systems and resources to accurately code inpatient and outpatient diagnoses, procedures, and services.
