In addition, the medical terminology applicable to these body systems will addressed, with emphasis on word construction, proper usage and acceptable medical abbreviations.
- Clinical Foundations: This competency-based course focuses on the clinical medical assisting skills required to prepare the patient for examination and to assist the Physician during patient examination and treatment. Infection control and safety and AIDS-related precautions are stressed.
