Massage Therapy training can qualify you for two possible careers:
A licensed or Certified Massage Therapist can provide powerful pain relief in addition to helping clients relax. You could offer these services at spas, chiropractic offices or private practices. You’ll even have the option to specialize in different types of massage, such as pregnancy massages or deep tissue massages.
Postsecondary Health Specialist Teacher
As a licensed Massage Therapist, you can teach courses as a Postsecondary Health Specialist. You will create class lesson plans, monitor students’ progress and share your knowledge and experience. You’ll teach students the proper massage therapy techniques and provide the education they need to move along their path to a new career. In order to become a Postsecondary Health Specialist Teacher, you will need to complete additional state requirements.
