Miller-Motte’s Columbus, GA campus offers career-focused training in business, education, healthcare, and technology. Each hands-on program helps prepare students for entry-level positions upon completion. Learning mode availability and award type may vary based on program.

Early Childhood Education

Education

Train to work with infants, toddlers, and elementary-aged children with our Early Childhood Education program. Students can practice creating lesson plans, study developmental milestones for children ages zero to eight, identify ways to assist students with disabilities, and more.

The Early Childhood education program prepares students for entry level careers within the childcare and early education fields. This program does not prepare students for any type of teaching or related licensing exams. Although the information taught in this program may be helpful, it does not prepare students to become a licensed teacher.

Upon program completion, graduates are awarded an Associate of Occupational Science degree.

Program Length: 18 months, 92 credits
Learning Mode: Hybrid

IT Support Specialist

Technology

Prepare for exciting careers in information technology with our IT Support program. Students can practice installing and configuring different network devices, troubleshooting operating systems, monitoring network availability, and more.

Upon program completion, graduates are awarded an Associate of Occupational Science degree.

Award: Associate of Occupational Science
Program Length: 18 months, 92 credits
Learning Mode: Hybrid

Medical Clinical Assistant

Healthcare

Develop administrative, clinical, and lab skills with our Medical Clinical Assistant program. Practice gathering lab samples, processing insurance claims, preparing patients for diagnostic testing, and more.

Upon program completion, graduates are awarded a certificate.

Program Length: 13 months, 60 credits
Learning Mode: Hybrid

CDL Training: Class A Tractor Trailer*

Skilled Trades

Prepare for your Commercial Driver’s License** (CDL) as you complete our CDL Training: Class A Tractor certificate program. Practice alley docking, offset backing maneuvers, pull ups, straight line backs, and more.

Upon completion of our CDL Training: Class A Tractor Trailer program, graduates are awarded a certificate.

Award: Certificate 
Program Length: 160 clock hours, 1-2 months 
Learning Mode: In-Person

*Graduates of this program must obtain a license to be employed in the field.

**Miller-Motte does not guarantee third-party licensure. Licensure requirements for taking and passing licensure examinations are not controlled by Miller-Motte but by outside agencies and are subject to change by the agencies without notice to Miller-Motte. Therefore, Miller-Motte cannot guarantee that graduates will be eligible to take licensure examinations, regardless of their eligibility status upon enrollment.
