Miller-Motte’s CDL: Class A Tractor Trailer program helps prepare you for the chance to pursue a career as a tractor-trailer or heavy haul driver. This program allows you to pursue a CDL: Class A Tractor Trailer certificate in a flexible environment that combines in-classroom instruction with hands-on experience. Enrollment is on a rolling basis with classes beginning every 5 weeks, and you can be finished with your CDL: Class A Tractor Trailer certificate in as little as 4 weeks.

Certificate: 160 Clocked Hours, 4 Weeks. Augusta, GA. Fayetteville, Jacksonville, NC. Chattanooga, TN. Summerville, SC.

 *Miller-Motte does not guarantee third-party certifications. Certification requirements for taking and passing certification examinations are not controlled by Miller-Motte but by outside agencies and are subject to change by the agencies without notice to Miller-Motte. Therefore, Miller-Motte cannot guarantee that graduates will be eligible to take certification examinations, regardless of their eligibility status upon enrollment. Graduates of the CDL Training: Class A Tractor Trailer program must obtain a Commercial Drivers License to be employed in the field.

  • Workforce Agency Funding

Workforce agencies can connect students with various funding options and services, including state and federal tuition assistance through grants and programs.

  • Veterans Funding

Veterans or eligible beneficiaries may qualify to use the GI Bill® at Miller-Motte College. Many Veterans can qualify for more than one education benefits program. Available programs include Post 911 GI Bill (Chapter 33), Montgomery GI Bill (Chapter 30), Survivor and Dependents Educational Assistance Program (DEA/Chapter 35), Chapter 1606 (Montgomery GI Bill-Selected Reserve) and Iraq and Afghanistan Service Grants (Awarded to eligible students who had a parent or guardian that died as a result of military service in Iraq or Afghanistan after September 11, 2001).   • Scholarships

  • Vocational Rehabilitation Programs

A student with a physical or mental disability which may be a handicap to employment may be eligible for training services provided through the state government agency for Vocational Rehabilitation.  Students desiring further information should contact the admissions office or call Vocational Rehabilitation directly.

  • Cash Payments

Students with available funds can choose to pay for their training directly. 

  • Third-Party Lending
Third-party lenders can provide student loans specifically designed for educational purposes. Climb Credit and/or Paramount, for example, have helped our students get the funding they need.

*It takes fewer than 300 hours to complete this program, therefore, CDL Training is not eligible for Title IV funding.
