Externships

What is an Externship*?

Externships allow students to apply their knowledge in the field, gain experience, and build their professional network. Students can train under the supervision of professional mentors and receive valuable feedback to further develop their skills. Students can gain an edge over the competition by gaining experience in a job like setting before completing our programs.
**Externship opportunities are not available with every program and not available for students attending online.

How Do Miller-Motte Externships Work?

Our academics team helps students in eligible programs explore externship opportunities based on their career goals. Our team helps students find the right partner so that they can make the most of this opportunity.
During their externship, students submit weekly reports detailing their attendance, activities, and what they learned. Students can practice and master their skills under the mentorship of the externship site supervisor. Students receive feedback on their progress during the middle and at the end of their externship.
