Miller-Motte College-Fayetteville Launches Construction & Trades Management Associate’s Degree Program

Graduates Will Be Prepared for Potential Jobs in the Construction Industry as Electrical or HVAC/BR Project Managers

(FAYETTEVILLE, NC) December 14, 2023 – According to national surveys from education nonprofit ECMC Group in January 2023, 19 percent of high-school students said they are considering career and technical education in the skilled trades this year, and more than two-thirds say their preferred educational environment would involve hands-on or on-the-job learning. Recognizing this trend, Miller-Motte College-Fayetteville, part of Ancora’s network of private postsecondary schools and a leading workforce training provider, is launching an Associate of Applied Science in Construction & Trades Management degree program in January 2024 for qualified individuals interested in becoming a construction project manager.

“Our new Associates degree program in Construction & Trades Management is for individuals looking to hone their skills and grow professionally as a project manager in one of the construction trades whether that’s Electrical or HVAC,” said Torris Fergusion, Executive Director of MMC-Fayetteville. “Miller-Motte is proud to offer a quality degree program that is recognized throughout the industry.”

Students enrolled in the program have the opportunity to focus on one of two specific areas in the trades including HVAC/BR or Electrical.
